About Us

The Red Clover Salon is a new business endeavor for Michelle & Tony Ottaviano that is born out of a mutual love of style, community and business. The concept for the Red Clover Salon was born in 2003 as a way to utilize Michelle’s marketing background and her advanced business education and Tony’s desire to open a Salon.

After much preparation and anticipation Red Clover Salon opens its doors on September 10th, 2007.

MICHELLE OTTAVIANO, MSA
Owner / President, Red Clover Salon, LLC

Michelle grew up in a family owned Vermont business and has run several successful small businesses [Body Images Personal Training (1984-2006), Green Mountain Maps & Guides (1989-1999), The Wellness Connection (1997-1999), ME2 Media Design& Marketing (2002-Present)]. Michelle is a graduate of Saint Michael’s College with a Masters in Administration (MSA) with a concentration in Organizational Behavior, the State University of New York at Albany with a Bachelors Degree (BA) in Fine Art and Pratt Manhattan School of Art in New York City with a certification in Computer Design. Michelle worked for Revlon in New York in the Professional Salon products marketing division before returning to Vermont in 1999.

TONY OTTAVIANO
Salon Coordinator & Stylist

Tony has a very strong 22-year sales & customer service background. He is due to graduate from the Redken Salon Professionals Academy in 2008.

NATALIE KOLIFRATH
Designated Licensee & Stylist

Natalie has 17 years experience in the industry. Her specialty is hair color and sharing her knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for customer service, cosmetics, hair and skin care with other stylists. Natalie has extensive education from Aveda, Alta, Matrix, Essential Salon, and the Vermont College of Cosmetology.

KELLY GOYETTE
Senior Salon Coordinator & Actress

Kelly is responsible for making sure the desk runs smoothly! She is a big asset to the Red Clover. Kelly has been very helpful in assisting with creating our front desk manual, tracking inventory and being that friendly voice on the line when you call the Salon.

Kelly is also an actress. We are lucky to have her for as long as we can keep her before the bright lights of broadway lead her back to New York City and beyond. She is performing in Beauty and the Beast in April here at the Flynn Theater with the Lyric Theater Group. She is the Operatic Wardrobe. You can also catch her this summer in Stowe with the Stowe Theater Group. She will be performing in Bat Boy as Reverend Billie Hightower.
